HutchConnect Adopt-a-Family

Nominate a local family in need this Christmas.

This Christmas, HutchConnect is launching our first Adopt-a-Family project to support one Hutchinson-area family in need.

HutchConnect is contributing the first $100 toward gifts, food, and essentials, and our partners are invited to help us make this Christmas a little brighter for a local family.

Nomination deadline: December 13

Partner voting: December 14–15

Shopping day: December 20

Delivery day: December 23

How HutchConnect Adopt-a-Family Works

  1. HutchConnect reviews nominations.
    Our team will review all submissions and narrow them down to a small group of finalists.

  2. Partners help choose the family.
    HutchConnect partners will privately review the finalists and vote on which family to support this year.

  3. We go shopping together.
    On December 20, HutchConnect and participating partners will shop for gifts, necessities, and a few special extras for the selected family.

  4. Gifts are delivered before Christmas.
    Our goal is to deliver everything on December 23, so the family has what they need in time for Christmas.

Adopt-a-Family Submissions Are Now Closed

Thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination and helped spread the word. The nomination period for the HutchConnect Adopt-a-Family project has officially closed.

We received multiple submissions from the community, and partner voting is now underway. Once a family is selected, all donated items, services, and funds listed below will be used to build a meaningful holiday support package for that family.

This project is made possible entirely through the generosity of our HutchConnect partners and community supporters.

What Happens Next

• Partner voting determines the family we will adopt

Family identities remain confidential. Parents will present gifts directly to their children so the focus stays on family, dignity, and care.

Photos shared publicly will highlight partner generosity and community support, not the family receiving assistance.
