Hutch, there’s just something about seeing a masterpiece on the big screen at the Historic Fox Theatre that hits differently. As part of the Fox Classic/Retro Film Series, we’re bringing back a movie that’ll make you want to stand on your desk and shout, Dead Poets Society.
On April 16th and 17th, come join us as we revisit the story of maverick teacher John Keating and his students at Welton Academy. It’s a powerful reminder to "seize the day," and experiencing it in our beautifully restored 1931 movie palace makes it feel like you’ve stepped right back into 1959.
Doors open 45 minutes before the 7:00 PM showtime. It’s a total steal at just $7 for adults and $6 for students, military, and seniors (just be sure to have your ID handy!). If you've got a Fox Film Pass, you can use it for this one, too. Grab some popcorn, find a comfy seat, and let’s celebrate the magic of cinema right here in the Salt City. Oh, and don't forget April 16th is also Third Thursday, so make it a full downtown night out!
