GeoWoodstock XXII

  • 2000 North Poplar Street Hutchinson, KS, 67502 United States (map)

Get ready, Hutch! We are making history right here in the Salt City as the Kansas State Fairgrounds plays host to GeoWoodstock XXII. If you aren’t familiar with geocaching, think of it as the world’s biggest high-tech treasure hunt. And this year, the treasure is right in our backyard.

Kansas is officially the 16th state to host this massive tradition, which started back in 2003 to bring folks together from all over the country. Since then, it’s exploded into a global phenomenon. We’re talking about an event so big it’s earned "Giga-event" status in the past! Whether you’re a seasoned "cacher" who has traveled the world or a local family looking for a unique way to spend a Saturday, this is a huge win for Hutchinson.

Come on out to the fairgrounds to meet people from across the globe, learn the ropes of the hunt, and see why our community is the perfect spot for this international gathering. It’s free to attend, full of adventure, and a great way to show some Kansas hospitality to our visitors!
