A Busy Weekend & Why It Matters

We wanted to take a minute to say thank you.

This past weekend was a full one for HutchConnect in the best way. On Friday, we were in the studio recording a podcast and having honest conversations about local business, growth, and what it really looks like to build something here in Hutchinson. On Saturday, we gathered in person for our latest partner meetup to walk through practical social media basics and share what we’re learning together.

It was busy, but it was energizing.

One of the most encouraging things we’ve already seen is what’s happened after the meetup. Partners supporting partners. Businesses sharing each other’s posts. More interaction across the community. That kind of momentum doesn’t happen by accident, and it’s exactly why HutchConnect exists.

We also want to acknowledge something important. We had a wide range of experience levels in the room. Some of the material felt very comfortable to some, and a bit overwhelming to others. That feedback matters to us. Our goal isn’t to move fast and leave people behind. It’s to make sure everyone feels supported at whatever stage they’re in.

Because of that, we’re already working on short, step-by-step follow-up resources to help break things down even further. These will be optional, easy to follow, and designed to meet people where they are.

Thank you again to everyone who came out, asked questions, shared photos, and continues to show up for fellow partners. What we’re building here only works because of the people in it.

We’re proud of this community, and we’re excited about what’s next.
