Ken and Amy from Kansas Carts & Customs are opening their home to host a Christmas potluck and White Elephant gift exchange for HutchConnect partners. We’re gathering votes on the best date before finalizing plans.

This will be a casual, fun holiday get-together for our HutchConnect community.

We’re exploring a small pilot for a HutchConnect Podcast, produced with NACL Studio, and I wanted to see if any partners are interested in being part of the first episode.

The pilot would feature four businesses, and each participating business would get:

• A 10–15 minute final edited segment
•Reels/shorts created from your interview
• The full combined 40–60 minute podcast
• A long-play video version of the full podcast
• Distribution on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Amazon

The standard cost is $60 per business, but HutchConnect is covering $60 total to help kick this off, so the cost for partners in the pilot would be $45 each.

This is just an interest check right now. If we have enough businesses who want in, we’ll schedule the pilot for late December early January.

Partner Spotlights are open to any partner who has not yet been featured and would like to be included. To participate, send a short sentence or two about your experience with HutchConnect, such as any clients or leads you’ve received, social media growth, or networking wins. Please also include a brief overview of your business, what sets you apart, and what you are currently working on.

Each spotlight includes a quick individual meet-up for a photo with you, which helps introduce your business to the community in a more personal way.

If you would like to be featured, submit your writeup along with a few times you are available for the photo meet-up.

We are exploring a potential new feature for HutchConnect partners. Several businesses have asked about the ability to sell items, gift certificates, or special packages directly through their HutchConnect page. We are currently evaluating the logistics of offering an optional Marketplace feature for items priced at twenty dollars or more.

If launched, items would appear on both the partner’s HutchConnect listing and a dedicated HutchConnect Marketplace page. HutchConnect would manage payment processing and back-end order logistics. A fifteen percent fee would apply to each sale, covering all credit card processing fees. Partner payouts would likely occur monthly.

This idea is not finalized. We are in the early stages of planning and gathering feedback.

We’re getting ready for the first edition of the Hutch Connect Pass. Participation is completely optional, but partners should begin thinking about what type of discount or offer they might want to include for Q1. More details and a partner guide will be released and shared here soon.

Hutch Connect has been asked to help with select parts of the 2026 Smallville Festival. Details are still being finalized, but partners will always hear confirmed information here before it’s shared publicly.
