The Polar Plunge is one of the biggest annual community events in the Salt City, raising critical funds and awareness for Special Olympics Kansas (SOKS).

SOKS serves over 5,000 individuals with intellectual disabilities right here in our neck of the woods and across the state, offering 20+ sports, health training, and leadership opportunities.

How it works:

• Registration: Free to sign up.

• The Goal: Raise or pay a minimum of $100 to take the plunge.

• The Perk: You’ll receive a custom 2026 Polar Plunge t-shirt and the chance to support a great cause.

Not ready to jump? This event is open to the public. We encourage everyone to come out to Midwest Superstore to cheer on the participants and show some local support.
