Reno County Toy Run

Get those engines ready, Hutch! One of our favorite local traditions, the Reno County Toy Run, is happening on Sunday, November 23rd. This is such a powerful way our community comes together for a great cause.

Riders will start gathering at Salty Cycles LLC (129 E Sherman Street). The big parade, which looks to be led by Santa, leaves at 1:00 PM sharp (that's "Kickstands Up" for all the riders!).

After the run, everyone is heading to the Moose Lodge for chili, a 50/50 drawing, an auction, and more fun.

The best part? All the toys and money raised stay 100% local to help children right here in Reno County. Even if you aren't riding, come on out to wave at the parade as they go by and show your support for this incredible local event!

Stage 9 Variety Show: A Salute to Service (Wounded Warrior Project Benefit)

This is what community is all about, right here in Hutch!

Our friends at Stage 9 are hosting a "Salute To The Troops" event, and it sounds like an absolutely wonderful evening. It’s a free community variety show dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who have served our country.

Come on down to 9 S Main on Saturday, November 8th. They're offering two showtimes, one at 4:00 PM and another at 7:30 PM, so you can pick the one that works best for you.

You'll get to see live performances from talented local folks, and get this—they'll also have coffee provided by Sage River Market and free baked goods available!

While the entire event is completely free to attend, all donations will go to a cause that's near and dear to our hearts: Patriot Village. They do incredible work providing housing and support for our local veterans.

Let's pack the place for both shows and show our support for Stage 9 and this fantastic cause!

Little Train of Horrors

Hey Hutch, get ready for a spooky good time this Halloween season!
The "Little Train of Horrors" is back at the Zoo for one weekend only, October 24-26. From 6:00 to 8:30 each night, the zoo transforms into a haunted wonderland that’s sure to give you a few goosebumps.
It’s a fun, thrilling train ride that’s perfect for the spooky season. Best of all, it's a fantastic fundraiser supporting our Hutchinson Friends of the Zoo and the talented Hutchinson High School Thespian Club!
A quick heads-up for parents: the ride is pretty spooky, so it might be a little too intense for kids under 5.
Tickets are just $6, and you’ll need to grab them online beforehand. Make sure you get there a few minutes before your ticket time so you don't miss your spot on the train!
