9880 W Snokomo Rd, Hutchinson-Lacey Stone
This dazzling display from the Stone-Tallman family turns their entire property into a glowing Christmas experience. The house is trimmed in warm lights, with colorful scenes spread across the yard reindeer, candy canes, shimmering trees, and a bright mix of classic and modern decorations that bring the whole hillside to life. Every section of the display has something to discover, making it a standout stop on the trail.
Their tradition began in 2020 with a covid-safe drive-by show called Lights on Idlewild, complete with Santa, elves, hot cocoa, cookies, and donations for local charities. When they moved to Snokomo Road in The Highlands, the display grew and became the Snow Show on Snokomo. Weston even built a working snow machine, so when the weather hits the perfect temperature and humidity, visitors can enjoy real snow drifting through the lights.
Each year, the family hosts an event where guests can take photos with Santa, play in the snow, enjoy cocoa and cookies, and soak in the lights. All donations are split between the Cancer Council of Reno County, TECH, and BrightHouse.
