This display holds a very special place in the neighborhood. It is set up in loving memory of Pat Lutz, who passed away this past year. The inflatables featured here were Pat’s own, pieces he proudly put out every holiday season to bring joy to those around him.

After his passing, Pat’s wife, Sue, donated the inflatables to their neighbors at 1803 N. Van Buren. Chris now puts them up each year in Pat’s honor, keeping his holiday tradition alive and ensuring his spirit continues to brighten the neighborhood.

It’s a touching reminder of how something as simple as holiday lights can carry memories, love, and connection, and how a community comes together to remember one of their own.

This fun and festive display features a parade of holiday wiener dogs dressed for the season, leading visitors through a glowing arch and across the yard. Colorful lights wash the house, while unexpected details including a towering, light-wrapped skeleton, add a little extra personality. It’s quirky, cheerful, and guaranteed to make you smile.

This season they’ve introduced two animations, making the display even more lively. It’s all the hard work of Russell Carter, who puts this together to bring smiles to the community and to their daughter. Hopefully everyone enjoys driving by and taking it in.
